CTF Impulses


Impulse Action
1 Switch between the Axe and the Grappling Hook. If you are not currently using either, the axe be selected first. This is by default bound to the <1> key.
2 Switch to the regular shotgun, the default weapon. This is by default bound to the <2> key.
3 Switch to the super shotgun. This is by default bound to the <3> key.
4 Switch to the nailgun. This is by default bound to the <4> key.
5 Switch to the super nailgun. This is by default bound to the <5> key.
6 Switch to the grenade launcher. This is by default bound to the <6> key.
7 Switch to the rocket launcher. This is by default bound to the <7> key.
8 Switch to the lightning gun. This is by default bound to the <8> key.
10 Cycle to the next weapon. This will cycle through each available weapon proceeding in a forward manner.
12 Reverse cycle to the previous weapon. This will cycle through each available weapon proceeding in a reverse manner.
20 Drop a back pack containing ammo for your current weapon. Very handy for helping out your teammates on guard duty.
21 Drop your current weapon. Very handy for helping out your teammates on guard duty.
22 Switch to the Grappling Hook. This does not toggle with the axe.
23 Display current status of the flags. This will tell you where each of the flags are: at base, lying about, or who is carrying them.
24 Drop Rune. This will discard the Rune you are carrying, allowing you to find another. The discarded Rune has no power and evaporates 10 seconds after being dropped.

25 Display current team settings for the server. This shows what modes are enabled from the following:
Health-Protect (default = enabled)
Players receive no health damage from teammates' attacks.
Armor-Protect (default = enabled)
Players receive no armor damage from teammates' attacks.
Mirror-Damage (default = disabled)
A player who attacks his teammate will receive the same damage the teammate would have received, had he not been protected.
Frag-Penalty (default = disabled)
Any player who kills his teammate will be penalized frags. The number of frags to penalize is adjustable by a simple edit in the teamplay.qc file.
Death-Penalty (default = disabled)
Any player who kills his teammate will burst apart in a bloody mess.
Lock-Colors (default = enabled)
Players will only be allowed to be certain colors. Team colors can be specified for up to four teams in the teamplay.qc file. Players who have illegal colors when they enter will be put into the team with the fewest members. Any player who changes team (pants color) will be fragged and their frag count is reset to zero.
Static-Team (default = disabled)
Players will not be allowed to change teams.
Drop-Items: Backpack Impulse 20, Weapon Impulse 21 (default = enabled)
Players will be allowed to drop ammo and weapons. IMPULSE 20 will drop a backpack and IMPULSE 21 will drop the current weapon. You can't drop the axe or single-shotgun.
Capture-The-flag (default = enabled)
Capture The Flag is active.
